This is one of the greatest acoustic emo songs ever written! I think it proves that
the new TBS guitarist really has some great songwriting capabilities and shouldn't
be trashed as much as he has been. Shame on you... =P

NOTE: This song is being fingerpicked, so NO picks aight?

tuning: standard (EADGBe)

key:
/ = slide up
\ = slide down
h = hammer on
p = pull off
x = dead note

intro/verse riff: "you've got to get better..."

B|---0------3--------------3--5p0-----3-------|
G|-------------0--------0----------5----------|
D|------0h4-------0--0------------------------|
A|----------------------------3---------------|
E|---3----------------------------------------|

chorus: "just ask the question..."

G|--0---0-0---0-------0-------|
D|--0---5/7---2-------0-------|

Chorus2: "and there's one thing..."

bridge: instrumental (a little random note picking, play around with these notes!)

E|---3----3--3--3-------3--3------3--3------3------3--------------3---|

bridge(continued): bass and strings join in! (+soft drumming)

A|----------3--------------------|--------------------|
E|---0-------------3-----3-------|--------------------|
 (these bass notes aren't necessary, but it sounds better I think)

bridge(continued):guitar solo riff (bass plays the bass notes here! Drums kick in)
e|--3---3p2-2-2----3/5/7--7h8-8-8-8p7-7---|--8p7-7--|------10--|

G|--------------4-------------------------|---------|----------|
D|----------------------------------------|---(8x)--|---(8x)---|
A|----------------------------------------|---------|----------|
E|----------------------------------------|---------|----------|
 (I believe there's a second guitar, but I can't be bothered, sorry)

chorus
chorus2

outro (same as intro, 'cept for the last time [below])
e|-------------------2-------------------------|
B|---0------3--------------3--5p0-----3-----0--|
G|-------------0--------0----------5-----5-----| (play a soft G chord)
D|------0h4-------0--0-------------------------|
A|----------------------------3----------------|
E|---3-----------------------------------------|

I'm sorry for the bridge section, but it's really tricky to type (and make out)
every single individual note that's being played, because of his fingerpicking
technique, but the important bits are there at least. I think that it's pretty
accurate, but I may be wrong. Just listen really carefully and please correct
my mistakes (if there are any =P).
thanks,
~Jonathan
